Mansur Salih
Salih studied design and communication arts widely and earned degrees in several of these areas before taking a five-year break to figure out what he really wanted to do. During this time, on top of freelance multimedia work, he did his best to keep his mind in shape by taking courses in test-taking techniques, accounting, business communications, and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) while attending self-development, discovery, and transformation seminars. Since he's always wondered why beings do what they do, along with the self-improvement courses, those five years gave him some time to think about studying psychology which was one of his best decisions. Later, he got degrees (AA&BA) in Psychology, specializing in forensic psych.
Some of Salih Mansur's interests are the psychology of learning, educational technologies, self-regulated learning, tech-supported collaborative learning, learning strategies, simplification, integration of arts and sciences through multimedia and mental faculties, MOOC, MOODLE, anything with simple yet effective learning techniques, as well as fortifying the learning experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Virtual Realities (VR), etc. He endeavors to design a learning environment through digital platforms and mobile apps where the basics of education are integrated through multimedia, images, audio/video, color coding, etc., as an open source so that a better foundation for simple learning can be available to everyone.
