Terms of use

1. Definition of terms

1.1. Site management - site employees who process the personal data of users, which are contained in autobiographies, and determine the purposes of personal processing data, their composition, actions, or operations that are performed on this data.

1.2. User's account - a page of the site that contains personal information about the User, entered by him when registering his autobiography necessary for identifying the person, other data about the User using the technical means of the site.

1.3. Processing of personal data - any action or set of activities with personal data, including the collection, systematization, storage, updating, modification, use, transfer, blocking, and deletion of personal data.

1.4. Personal data - any systematized information directly or indirectly related to a certain or determined based on such information to an individual (subject of personal data).

1.5. Cookie - a small piece of data sent by a web server and stored on the User's computer, which the web client or web browser sends to the web server in an HTTP request whenever it tries to open a page of the corresponding site.

1.6. "IP-address" - a unique network address of a node in a computer network built using the "IP" protocol.

1.7. User - a person who has reached a certain age (16 years old), who has access to the site via the Internet, and uses this site to post systematized information about himself, set out in the form of a text file (autobiography), or a fragment containing personal information about the User, etc.

1.8. User registration - filling in by the User of the appropriate form of personal data on the site indicating the data necessary for identifying the User on the Internet, which is his direct expression of will, expressed in his actions.

2. General provisions

2.1. The use of the site by the User means acceptance of the terms of processing of the User's personal data.

3. Use of the site by the User

3.3. By accepting, the User confirms his complete agreement with all the rules and provisions of this user agreement and the rules and conditions for using the site, without any exceptions and restrictions.

 

4. Rights and obligations of the User:

4.1. The User has the right to:

  • Until the moment of acceptance of this user agreement, get acquainted with all its conditions.
  • Demand from the site administration the fulfillment of the conditions and obligations that are provided for by this user agreement.
  • Uploadingyour biography and biographies of historical figures who died before 1945;
  • At any time, edit, modify, and recompose your biographical data, subject to the User's copyright.

 

5 . Rights and obligations of the site management

5.1. The site management protects the data that is automatically transmitted during the visit to the site pages:

  • "IP address";
  • information from "Cookies";
  • information about the browser (or another program that accesses the display of advertising);
  • access time.

5.2. The site collects statistics about the "IP addresses" of its visitors. This information is used to identify and solve technical problems and control the legality of financial payments.

5.3. The site management collects and processes the User's personal data solely for the following purposes:

  • identification of the User registered on the site;
  • providing the User with access to personalized resources of the site;
  • establishing feedback with the User, including sending notifications and requests regarding the use of the site;
  • determine the location of the User to ensure security and prevent fraud;
  • processing and receiving payments when registering a user and posting his autobiography on the site.

 

6. Site management disclaimer

6.1. The site management is not responsible for the quality of public communication channels and possible interruptions in the data networks through which the site is accessed.

6.2. The relationship between the User and the site management is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provisions.

 

7. Composition of personal data

7.1. To carry out its activities and fulfill its obligations, the site management processes the User's data provided by them during registration on the www.wepi.info website and stores it in the personal account.

7.2. The User's data includes: last name, first name, patronymic, e-mail address, and date of birth.

7.3. The site management has the right to establish requirements for the composition of personal data, which must be provided when using the online service. If the Guide does not mark certain information as mandatory, its provision or disclosure is carried out by the User at his discretion.

7.4. Data that is automatically transmitted by the Management when using the online service by the User using the software installed on the device: IP address, information about the browser and the type of operating system of the device, hardware, and software specifications, date and time of access to the online service.

 

8. Implementation of personal data protection

8.1. The activities of the Guidelines for processing personal data in information systems are inextricably linked with the protection by the Guidelines of the confidentiality of the information received, unless this contradicts the current GDPR (legislation of the countries of the European Union).

8.2. The personal data protection system includes organizational and (or) technical measures determined, considering current threats to the security of personal data and information technologies used in information systems. The Management updates these activities with the emergence of new technologies, if necessary.

8.3. The exchange of personal data during their processing in information systems is carried out through communication channels protected by technical means of information protection.

8.4. When processing personal data in information systems, the Site Management provides:

⦁ taking measures aimed at preventing unauthorized access to personal data and (or) their transfer to persons who do not have the right to access such information;

⦁ timely detection of facts of unauthorized access to personal data;

⦁ prevention of impact on technical means of automated processing of personal data, as a result of which their functioning may be disrupted;

⦁ the possibility of immediate recovery of personal data modified and destroyed due to unauthorized access to them;

⦁ constant monitoring of the level of protection of personal data.

8.5. Concerning personal information, confidentiality is maintained, except in cases where the technology of the online service or the settings of the software used by the User provides an open exchange of information with other Users of the online service or with any Internet users.

8.6. The Management implements the following requirements of the international legislation of the European Union in the field of personal data, the main document:

⦁ requirements for the confidentiality of personal data;

⦁ provisions to ensure the exercise by the subject of personal data of their rights;

⦁ requirements for protecting personal data from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, distortion, blocking, copying, provision, and distribution of personal data, as well as other illegal actions concerning personal data.

 

9. Cookies and other tracking technologies.

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your computer or mobile device when you start using them. Thus, the site will temporarily remember the benefits and actions you have performed, so you do not need to re-enter this data. Our cookies alone do not identify an individual user but only the computer or mobile device you use.
